Спасение американского автопрома в лице GMC
Всем известно, что один из китов американской экономики – автомобильная промышленность. Это она была одним из локомотивов, который вывез США из кризиса 1930-х годов. «Видать настало время возвращать долги» - подумали в Вашингтоне и спасли одну из самых крупных мировых компаний General Motors Corporation.
Нынешний кризис, наверное, больнее всего сказывается на крупных производителях: мелкие и потеряли меньше и более гибче в своей структуре и управлении. Это подобно тому, как если падает Боинг 747, то трудно кому-либо в нем уцелеть, из «кукурузника» же еще можно выбраться.
Если признавать банкротом GMC, то наверняка рухнула бы экономика США. Но и не признать нельзя. Вот в нормальном правовом государстве с названием из трех букв назначили суд о банкротстве GMC.
Как сообщает Automotive News, суд по банкротствам США принял решение о продаже «хороших» активов General Motors Company новостворенной компании с государственной поддержкой. Под понятием «хорошие» активы суд понял Chevrolet и Cadillac и дилерскую сеть, которую существенно сократили.
Ожидается, что уже 7-го июля сделка будет закрыта. По информации «из-за бугра» правительству Соединенных Штатов достанется 60% акций. Остальные 40% распределятся так: 12,5 – правительству Канады, 17,5 – профсоюзу работников автомобильной промышленности UAW и 10 – держателям необеспеченных акций GMC. Такое решение проблемы позволит GM освободиться от некоторых долговых и кредитных обязательств и получить кредитную линию от правительства в $15,4 млрд с расчетом в дальнейшем еще на $ 30 млрд.
Может такие действия правительств есть одна из первых ласточек о приостановке кризисных явлений? По крайней мере, в Новом Свете хотя бы борются с кризисом, а не пускают на самотек.
