Раздача призов назначена на январь
В конце июня были опубликованы претенденты за звание победителя в конкурсе «Лучший автомобиль» и «Лучший внедорожник» Северной Америки за 2010 модельный год. Хотя в названии конкурса и присутствует региональная составляющая, но естественно, что компании-производители собрались со всего передового автомобильного мира.
В райдер вошли 3 южнокорейских автомобиля, по 11 представителей из Европы и Северной Америки и 12 из страны Восходящего Солнца. Оценивать автомобили будет, жури из 50 журналистов специализирующихся на автомобильной тематике со всего мира. Соберутся все эти товарищи в январе 2010 года в начавшей сдавать свои позиции столице мирового автопрома Детройте. По чистой случайности в это же время пройдет автосалон имени того же города. Странно, а почему при выяснении «кто на свете всех светлее» не используются новейшие технологии SMS голосований или волеизъявление через всемирную паутину?
Как всегда на этом конкурсе назовут двух победителей - в классе легковой автомобиль и в классе внедорожник. Отметим, что пасут задних и не попали на конкурс автомобили марок Chrysler, Dodge и Jeep. Странно - если у вас упали продажи, то, на мое уразумение, надо из кожи вон лезть, продвигая свою марку. Но американцы в очередной раз доказали, что они не привязываются к национальной принадлежности товара (будь то авто или карманный фонарик) а руководствуются чисто деловыми критериями. Я так понимаю, что компании «купуймо амеріканське» за океаном нет.
Еще есть особенность у предстоящего конкурса - модель Suzuki Kizashi в нем представлена, а она еще не была официально представлена как серийный автомобиль и находится в списке обновленная Honda Crosstour, выпуск этой модели японцы еще не подтвердили.
